Cramer v Stewart

Did Main Stream Media miss the point Jon Stewart was making in covering this story?

I delayed watching the show or reading comments and actually had a silent protest going on in my mind. But, I watched today and found it disturbing. I akin Jim Cramer to Fredo Corleone, a guy who was set up with a job because he was in the "family." The dumb brother no less.

Jon Stewart needed to talk to the Don himself. Jim Cramer is not the Don. Jim Cramer is Fredo. Cramer still tried to defend himself without grasping the single point Stewart was indeed making... You guys are standing around when side bets are going down and profiting from those side bets big time. It's like travelling or double dribbling and knowing you are, but blaming the refs for not blowing the whistle and finding nothing wrong with knowingly travelling (to mix metaphorical points here.)

Furthermore... There is no such thing as "media"! Media is a categorical term. What we have are people... real honest to goodness people... these are people who are not doing good public works or service... We need individuals making better choices. You can have the courageous Stewarts or the smug Morning Joe folk... Protest those people interested in their own self interest or elevate those interested in a greater good. Or to mix metaphors again... dump the known dude who carries every time he dribbles or travels every time going to the basket. He or she has broken the rule and knows it. The refs have allowed too many breaks, and so have we the citizens who make up this Republic.

Jim Cramer is exactly the measure of what he presented...(Just like Allen Iverson). He doesn't know any better (or does he? me thinks he does), but we who do ought to begin to grow some cahugas and get busy. Stop the finger pointing and "become the change we want to see"....
